Dear Prayer Team Partner,

    Where were you when…? It’s a question we often ask when remembering a significant moment that changed everything. Most of us can recall exactly where we were during pivotal events in our nation’s history or in our own lives.

    More recently, we at The Presidential Prayer Team faced our own unexpected and significant challenge — one that stopped us in our tracks and caused us to face an uncertain future.

    Our longtime dear friend and Board Chairperson, who began as a faithful member and later became one of our most generous supporters, went home to be with the Lord. (At the request of her family, we are not using her name publicly.) Over the years, her extraordinary generosity made a profound impact — including enabling us to purchase the building that now serves as our national headquarters.

    When news came that her support would end immediately, it created a significant financial gap. It was a surprise to us — but not to our Heavenly Father.

    We have been deeply encouraged by how quickly God’s people have stepped forward. Other faithful partners have already begun filling in much of the gap.  If you have already reached out to help us - "thank you".  We have made the necessary adjustments and are now moving forward with renewed determination.

    We have all experienced unexpected losses — the loss of a job, a major expense, or the death of a loved one. These moments are difficult and often require patient, long recoveries.

    “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” - James 1:2-4

    Yet we are promised endurance, and our faith, though tested, is never broken. It is strengthened.

    We are now pulling forward with hope. This is a faith journey, and our confidence is in the Lord and in the future He has for us.

    We remain fully committed to the work of this ministry — standing alongside you with timely information, spiritual encouragement, and biblical direction as you pray for our leaders and our nation.

    As a faith-based ministry, one of the few absolutes we live by is this: we must depend on the generous support of God’s people. Every dollar that sustains this work comes from faithful friends like you.

    Each year at this time, we invite a few friends to pool their giving into a matching fund to encourage broader participation in our Summer Matching Gift Program. Because of our recent loss, the matching fund is smaller than in previous years.

    Would you be among the first to have your gift matched dollar-for-dollar? The matching fund is limited, so the first $54,000 in gifts (combined with the match) will receive the full match.

    Additionally, we want to offer a special “Thank You” to those who give a one-time gift of $250 or more in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, or who begin a monthly gift of $25 or more in celebration of our ministry’s 25 years—you will receive a beautiful limited-edition commemorative coin honoring both milestones, with “250th Celebration” on one side and “25 Years of Prayer” on the other (already one-third of our supply has been spoken for).

    Our late friend often said that her support of a praying America was “the greatest gift she could give,” because she firmly believed that our nation and our President are in the hands of Almighty God — and that He directs, protects, and brings safety, peace, and blessing. (Proverbs 21:1)
