After the Ballots Are Counted… Then What?
Dear Prayer Team Member,
We are now just days away from an important election in our nation's history. Before Election Day arrives, I want to personally thank you for standing with The Presidential Prayer Team throughout our 2026 Pray the Vote campaign.
Over 50,000 prayer warriors have joined our 25-day prayer countdown so far, praying for God's protection over our nation and asking for His wisdom, guidance, and His hand upon us. Together, we have lifted up voters, candidates, elected officials, and the future of America before God. Your faithfulness has been a powerful reminder that God's people are still committed to seeking Him on behalf of our country.
But I want to remind you of something especially important: When the election ends, our call to prayer must not.
The ballots will be counted and the results announced. Some will celebrate, while others may be disappointed. But regardless of the outcome, America will still need prayer. Newly elected leaders will need wisdom, those continuing in office will need strength and discernment, and our nation will still need God's guidance, protection, and mercy.
Praying for those in authority is not a responsibility reserved for election season. It is a calling and biblical duty entrusted to us every day, and for 25 years The Presidential Prayer Team has remained faithful to it. Through changing administrations, national challenges, seasons of uncertainty, and times of great blessing, we have continued to encourage Americans to pray for our president, our leaders, and our beloved nation.
Soon, as Election Day passes, millions will turn their attention elsewhere. But the need to encourage and equip believers to pray for those in authority will be as important as ever.
As our 2026 Pray the Vote campaign comes to a close, the daily work of this ministry carries on, and it can only continue with faithful friends like you. Each day, we publish prayer-focused updates on national leaders and important issues, provide daily prayer guidance, and unite believers across America in informed prayer for our government and nation.
Your prayers are the heartbeat of this ministry. And your financial generosity provides the resources necessary to reach Americans with the daily reminder that prayer matters and that our leaders need God's wisdom.

As we look toward the days ahead, I am reminded of the words of Galatians 6:9: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." May we never grow weary of praying for America.
