Dear Prayer Partner,

    As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of American independence, the Presidential Prayer Team has launched a special prayer initiative to unite believers across the country in praying faithfully for America, our leaders, and our future.

    It’s called The 250 Vigil, and it has already has more than 60,000 people praying daily and growing every day. In the coming months, we will also begin our expanded Pray the Vote efforts as we prepare for the 2026 election cycle — continuing our mission of equipping Americans to pray specifically, consistently, and biblically for those entrusted with leadership.

    While these are exciting accomplishments and goals -- suddenly this ministry stands at an important crossroads.  Let me explain.

We are deeply saddened to share that one of our earliest and most faithful supporters—a founding friend whose generous giving has been essential to our daily ministry work—has passed away. For over a decade, her steadfast support helped launch new outreaches and make it possible for the Presidential Prayer Team to fulfill and expand its mission of mobilizing prayer across America. Her love for this ministry, her commitment to prayer, and her heart for our nation left an enduring impact that continues to be felt today.

    We can think of no more fitting tribute than to invite believers across the nation to do what she did so faithfully for so many years—to pray for America and for those entrusted with leadership. Through this special initiative, her commitment to prayer will continue to inspire and mobilize thousands of others to seek God's blessing and guidance for our nation.

    We are now working diligently to replace her significant financial support so that the ministry can continue moving forward without reductions or interruptions.

    As a result, the future growth and impact of the Presidential Prayer Team increasingly depends upon faithful supporters who believe this mission must continue.

    For a quarter of a century, the Presidential Prayer Team has called millions of Americans to pray specifically, consistently, and biblically for those entrusted with leadership in our nation. Every day, this ministry helps believers turn concern into intercession and uncertainty into faithful prayer.

    We believe there has never been a more important time to continue this work. As America marks 250 years as a nation, we are asking believers to renew their commitment to prayer and honor the legacy of a faithful friend whose heart for prayer helped shape this ministry.

A Token Reminder to Pray

Shortly after the tragedy of September 11, 2001, the Presidential Prayer Team introduced a special prayer coin. For thousands of Americans, that coin became much more than a keepsake. It served as a daily reminder to pray for our nation, our leaders, and God’s protection and guidance over America.

Many carried it in their pocket, kept it on their desk, or placed it where they would see it every day. Whenever they touched or noticed the coin, they were reminded of their commitment to pray.

Now, as America prepares to celebrate 250 years, the Presidential Prayer Team is honored to reintroduce this tradition through a new limited-edition commemorative prayer coin.
